This is hilarious. I'm not part of this argument, nor do I enjoy being a grammar nazi, but gall is a word, and it was used properly. Google it.
As for the topic, I agree the show has plateaued. But I don't agree that Megan Fox is someone who will save it. What really needs to happen is Fox's character comes back; Nick does the romance thing; he finds out he isn't in love with Fox's character; him and Jess get back together; Schmidt and Cece finish fixing their house, Winston and Ali move in together; the end.
The show seems to be heading that way now that characters are moving in and out of the loft. There's definitely a direction towards some conflict between Nick/Jess/Reagan. But as long as the show gets ratings, the writers will probably delay all this from happening by the end of season 6.
That's the real reason the show isn't what it used to be. A lot of episodes are devoted to simply delaying a resolution, because that'd be the end of the show and money out of the studio's and actors' pockets. I still enjoy it, though.
