what exactly is so special about this movie?

I feel that both Black Panther and Wonder Woman were completely overhyped.

For an MCU movie especially I felt this one was very hard to get into.

I thought both of them were pretty boring.
Wonder Woman especially was a huge cookie-cutter.
Black Panther at least had some interesting themes.
