That they have to emphasise his skin colour by describing him as a big cat that is also black just seems to me to be saying that "blacks can be superheroes too!" But I don't care about minorities being superheroes, I want the traditional superheroes like Superman and Batman, not this progressive crap.

I though you'd have more issue with the term black panther being that its the name of the political group that is the black version of the KKK.

Progressive means to change---there's nothing "crap' about anything changing---it's just not the kind of change YOU like. Too bad---get used to it, it's gonna happen,lol.
