southpaw vs creed

Okay folks what u think was better southpaw or Creed.

I am a true rocky fan and I have watched both movies twice and to be honest hands down I have to give it too Southpaw. The story was slightly better and more exciting.I thought Michael B Jordan in creed just didnt do it for me. Dont get me wrong he is a good actor but his character in creed is missing something.
I heard Creed 2 is on its way with or with out Stallone but my thoughts without Rocky being in Creed 2 definitely will not work

what u think folks..?

I really liked Creed, it was a good addition to the Rocky movies. An Excellent movie in itself. Michael B. Jordon is a great actor. AS for Southpaw, I rented it because I am a huge Rachel McAdams fan and didn't expect too much out of the movie from the start. I must say that I was blown away by how awesome this movie was from start to finish. I'll have to go with Southpaw, the best boxing movie of our era in my opinion for sure. I'll definitely buy the Blu Ray when I feel like watching it again.

Rocky, Balboa, Warrior, SouthPaw. creed is meh. Basically this wildly successful economist wants to live up to his father legendary status. My Dad's a famous musician I know that feel, but Michael B. Jordans acting left much to be desired. I was left unimpressed.

That's not even a competition. Creed was useless. Southpaw was pretty good.

I felt Creed was the better film probably due to Sly's role and the overall execution. However, Jake was so much better and convincing than Michael B. Southpaw seemed to be an amalgamation of all the Rocky films and a little bit else. A decent film by Fuqua who is a very solid director, but it seemed a bit rushed near the end. Forest's character started off extremely interesting but for probably want of good lines seemed to pale as the film moved along.
If we're talking best fight films ever, then Rocky, Warrior and Balboa.

Jake Gyllenhaal did better than Michael B Jordan in creating a compelling character. I never really got behind Donny, I actually liked his opponent's started-from-the-bottom origins more.

Creed was a better movie though, apart from Donny.
