Well, no, they don't need to replace Claire Danes, she is amazing in this role, but yes, the short legs were distracting me during the season's premiere also.

I agree. You can get away with long legs and a short torso, or a long torso and long legs. But you can't get away with a long torso and short legs. When they show wide shots of her walking she looks like a little child trotting along in heels.

For the record. height has little to do with it when it comes to women. It's all about ratios. For example, Lady Gaga is barely pushing 5ft yet still is incredibly well-proportioned and womanly.
