I just realized, that, while I saw this movie, I remember NOTHING about it and had forgotten that there was anything after the mediocre On Stranger Tides (The main value of which was that Tim Powers finally got paid for something from a series that had so much in common with his novel)...
I mean, it still seems like it might be worth them rolling the dice again, though...
I remember a de-aged Depp that didn't look terrible. And that they break the rules of the compass. That's it. And I saw it three times I think. By the time they got out another, that'd be about 10 years. Just right for a last plunge of nostalgia.
