Everything Wrong with Top Gun: Maverick

1) Even Maverick can’t drive though an Area 51 gate without showing his ID.
2) Pretty sure the military contractor would have Maverick arrested for stealing the M10 Jet.
3) California has a helmet law, even for Maverick.
4) After being told of the Top Secret mission, no one is leaving base to play on the beach and hang out in bars.
5) An F-18 has look down radar, so they would see even Maverick’s plane coming for them.
6) The F-18 attack would also have F-18 Growler versions taking out the SAMs sites.
7) The F-18 attack would also have additional F-18s flying CAP.
8) The F-18 would not be needed since the tomahawk missiles would have taken out the target.
9) You don’t need to strike a runway with dozens of Tomahawk missiles as they have versions that drop boomlets to crater runways.
10) 5th generation fighters are missile platforms not dog fighters, like F-18, F-15, and F-16.
* In dog fights F-35s loose to F-15s. The goal of F-35 and F-22 is not to get anything close enough to dog fight.
