I've been on the fence about this show for years, but I was really depressed by the Nazis' destruction of historic American artefacts in video clips on YouTube.
Is there hope in this evil dystopia, or is it just another show glorifying Nazis?

shareNazis are basically the bad guys in this story with just the twist of "What IF" they and the Japanese Empire won the war and split America between them. It's really a very impressive show and no it doesn't glorify the Nazis but does shows us how victors can impose their ideology on the world.

It's very critical of oppressive systems of power, it is an interesting show, very thought-provoking (as wearsalan said), and yes, there are rays of hope. I mean, it is set in a dystopia, so it's hardly a garden of roses, but the main characters on the show are striving for a better future, so I'd say that's hopeful. Do they get there? That's the question at the heart of the show.
