I can't stand the way that muppet lisps her way through Edelweissh, whoever she is!

Lol yes.
By the end of the season, I actually got pretty good at pin-pointing exactly when the song ends
I actually like it up to a point, but ANY opening sequence gets tiresome when binging or even when watching an episode every week or few days. Unless the opening is very short, I just don't want to experience it over and over.
shareI will. But I liked seeing the changes to the opening. I may watch it once or twice more to try and catch any details I missed, but after that I'll probably FF. This opening is an improvement, visually, over s1.
shareYES.
The way she pronounces Edelweiss is annoying as hell. The music is so somber but she makes it laughable.
I honesty can't believe that someone didn't speak up and say how horrible it is.
I am surprised at how annoying it is. After being spoiled with openers from Westworld and GOT I just cringe at this one.

thats not really a German song
it was written for " The Sound of Music" in 1959 by 2 jews..... ironically
so in the world of the Man in the High Castle, it wouldnt (likely) exist
Heh.

Yes! The singer's accent annoyed me from the start, but during season one it also sounded like she skipped a line or two...which sounded so wrong it worked my nerves. Fast-forwarding became a must. Thankfully they added the missing lines for season two's intros, but that accent...ugh...fast-forwarding remains a must.
shareThanks! I thought I was the only one. That delivery is beyond annoying.
