Anyone else FFwd through the theme song?

Every single time. I make sure it doesn't start with a cold open and then fast forward to about 1:27.

I listened to the song nearly every time. The last few times, I was wondering if the singer had an accent, or a fake accent. To my untrained ear her accent sounded vaguely/sightly Japanese.

Yes, every time! I normally love opening credit sequences, and always bitch and moan when my mom fast forwards through them when we're watching something, but I can't STAND that woman's voice and fake accent!

I think the opening song is supposed to be unsettling, due to the show being based in an alternate timeline and the opening being framed against Nazi-esque imagery.

I do fast forward through it from time to time, but that doesn't mean it isn't an effective opening theme for setting the tone of the show.

It would be nice to tweak it a bit for Season 3, however. I think the events of the show have shifted things enough to alter the opening a bit.

I like the way it ends, with the ominous overtones.

I actually like the theme even though it is a bit cloying. It is a bit of a tease actually with its slow sweetness against a menacing backdrop of black and white steampunk images.
