As a CJ fan, it was nice to see her in the season finale. No more than a cameo but a nice touch all the same (along with several side characters).

A sign that there are plans to bring her back in the future? Maybe I'm optimist but then, it take two seasons after her initial appearance for her to return.

Sure, Margaret's still about, even watching TV on the sofa with the other three, but she and Mordeccai seem settled in the 'just friends' area (I guess they got friend-zoned after all), a status supported by her dad's description of Mordeccai in the season finale as Margaret's ex.

Margaret all the way. CJ is just a jealous !@#$% with violent tendencies. I can't stand episodes with her in them.

It will be Margaret! According to Toonzone Quintel confirmed it at New York Comic-Con, when he was asked who Mordecai would end up with Quintel said he could end up with anyone IF he didn't screw it up. But William Salyers (the voice of Rigby) intervened, saying the answer should be obvious since JD Thompkins, Margaret’s voice, was on stage with them. After a laugh Quintel confirmed Mordecai would end up with Margaret.

Yeah, it was more-or-less confirmed in 'Just, Friends.'
