Cringeworthy writing is cringeworthy.

"I'm Donna and I'm awesome"
"If you're my friend you'll never ask me about it again"

Are you serious? I can kind of see Kevin's line being ok because it's prison and all but come on.

I should also mention I hate the way she walks. You can see the extra effort she has to put into that, "I'm Donna" walk. I bet she does at least 3 takes for each of her walks, even if she's barely in the frame, walking off the screen.

Forget it. According to the people on this site, you shouldn't ever voice your opinion. So I guess best option we have is to just quit this show.

To be fair, I think she's just struggling with those four inch stilettos they make her wear. I think she's trying to look graceful but can't walk in the shoes without being awkward so she kind of ends up clomping around? I actually feel bad for her bc those shoes look really uncomfortable. Rachel's are even worse - she looks elegant while walking but so precarious, like she's always one misstep away from wiping out.

Only Jessica knew how to walk in tall heels like she owned them. Gina Torres is a force of nature. Is she even a real person? How did she always look like she stepped off a runway?

I'll add the writers' goal to work the word *beep* in to their episode max.

It's something that really sticks out when you binge on the show.

reply

but... she's Donna, and she's awesome.
That's like saying:
Jem is not excitement
Robin doesn't sparkle
Denver's not the last Dinosaur

You wait until I tell Jem about this, she is going to find it truly, truly outrageous.

this show is meant for people with intelligence, kindly dont waste your non existing brain on it

reply

I'd expect someone with intelligence to come up with anything better than you did though.. so I guess we're in the same boat.
