If this were the ONLY film I was ever to write and direct I would....

Be super satisfied with myself if I was never allowed or able to do another feature ever again. This is one of those films that hits its audience in a place in their soul weather they like it or not and makes you question who you are as a human being and what is life really worth. I would die happy knowing I did a film like this that will say behind long after I am gone.

I agree, it was a really powerful movie. It shocked me in a way I never thought was possible when it comes to movies. It's so rare for movies to be this honest and realistic when it comes to death. Most movies treat death as something unimportant and lives of everyday people are just meaningless. But this movie shows how horrifying it is to confront death.

Well said.

I'd do what Ottway should have done at the beginning of the movie: pull the trigger.

Silly unrealistic children's action flick for those of tiny IQ

I suspect you posses a tiny something else, which is why you're so antagonistic to American entertainment. Project much lately?

You sir are a genius, in your own mind, God Bless America, we defend our crap films by saying that someone has a tiny weenie, perfect

The jumping-off-the-cliff sequence is definitely unrealistic, but this ain't an action flick. It's a survival drama, which is simply a stage for the film's heavy, thought-provoking themes, as detailed here:
