Horrible movie my wife dragged me to. But it started alot of discussion with our friends afterwards on who they prefer. My wife chose Tuck.

I didnt really like the film that much, only got past both the first dates and I had to turn it off because Chris annoyed me, I usually like him but he was a real prick in this I think. Well maybe thats a bit harsh as I havent seen the rest of it but whatever. Just going on personality + first date I'd go with Tuck, their date was way more fun, and he made her feel important and actually seemed to pay attention to what was happening, rather than taking her to a club and pretty much just showing off how much he knew all the people in there, I would have walked out too. Plus it was kinda annoying that he basically forced her to go on the date, and then turned up late and made her wait. I've heard that she actually ends up with him in the end? Well that sucks.

I think ppl are harsh on Pine cuz of the first date, but 1. Shes already judged him at that point- its very Pride and Prejudice. 2. The date was kinda interesting, she didnt even give it a chance. It was a nod to the Goodfellas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCYwcObxl78.
They met at a video store, where she acted like she knew all about film, the whole Hitchcock scene. So maybe he thought she'd enjoy/get the Goodfellas tribute.
Also, the whole parents death thing, probably has him all defensive which is why he overcompensates with all that charm and charisma,and tries not to let anyone too close so he doesnt get hurt. I think she understands him better after she visits his nana, and he does start being less flashy and more genuine at that point.
Its not about choosing the better man, its about choosing who makes her a better woman, and she probably sees more potential in Chris Pines character challenging her.
Besides, Chris Pine shirtless on top of that kitchen counter. HOT.

I think in general I prefer men who I can believe I'm looking at when I'm looking at them.
People like Rob Lowe, Chris Pine, this Ian "Smolderholder(?)" guy, etc. are wonderful. But I can't believe what I see every time I'm looking at them.
Of course, there are exceptions, like Paul Newman... John Stamos...
Anyway I choose Hardy.

Why would you expect most to go for Pine? He's only good-looking in a frat boy sort of way, he looks like a 15 yr old, and his character is a major sleaze. Hardy, by contrast, is strongly handsome, an actual adult-looking male, has lots of muscles and tattoos, and his character is fairly nice to boot. Also, he has an English accent.

Tom Hardy is just ridiculously sexy, with those lips and his for lack of a better word Swag lol. Pine has the most beautiful eyes and lips also, plus he's amazing as captain kirk and has a great vocabulary Lmao. Both are sexy and I wouldn't kick neither out of bed. I'm not one of those girls that has to choose one, I appreciate ALL. If I had to choose a character in the movie it would be FDR simply because Tuck needed his family back.
