I assume Mister Brainwash is invented and launched by Banksy,
MBW is a work by Banksy. They switched identities, Banksy becomes the filmmaker and as return he launched Guetta as an 'fictitious' artist.
What MBW makes is of no importance, the fact that MBW has reached a status as artist proves how ridicilous the art world works. Very smart thinking Mister Banksy. You did it again.

Is it possible it's a chicken/egg thing? Banksy created Mr. Brainwash, but Mr. Brainwash then created a version of Banksy, and it's the same person being Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, and Banksy as created by Mr. Brainwash.
Anyway, they show footage of Banksy supposedly sticking paintings in a real art gallery while saying no one, especially not Thierry, has been filming him and that Thierry hasn't even met him by that point. I'm not sure if they were implying the West Bank footage was that as well. But his crew said filming was against their rules while showing footage someone had filmed before filming was allowed. So, maybe if that's a lie, other things in the movie are a lie.
As documentaries go, it may have footage made entirely for it.
Also, what's with the Disney bit implying Disneyland wouldn't have had security camera footage while at the same time implying it did? How did they know to follow and grab Thierry? And if they had security camera footage of the area, why wouldn't they have proof of Thierry's connection to the vandal when they could have footage of Thierry entering the park with the same guy in the same clothes, with the same bag? Also, they bought their tickets together. If the FBI was there, why let him go when they probably had proof. It was just to establish that Banksy had accepted Thierry as his guy.
The entire film is an art thing, and if Mr. Brainwash is a real artist and not a creation, it might even be a collaborative work between Banksy and every street artist in the movie. Position Mr. Brainwash as a sort of clueless enemy of art, while it's possible the film is another demonstration of how art can brainwash people into believing things or making things up about things.
There are so many things to question about the reality of everything in this film. Even the pixelation and the concealment of people's faces. Why even bother hiding Invader's face if they're giving so many other details about the guy like "This guy with this name is his cousin. Also, the back of his head looks like this." And we're meant to believe that Banksy wouldn't mind his hands being filmed when it has at least one ring on it. Is he married? Who knows what his ring looks like and don't know he's Banksy? And his studio windows, if the Met or the media don't know who he is or where his studio is, does he not worry they'll identify where it is via the shape of those windows? Someone would totally try doing that. Those British tabloids will do anything.
