You are the worst loser idiot if you won't see the HOAX

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

IT IS A HOAX. 100% HOAX. NO DOUBTS WHATSOEVER. I don't know, are way too many people so stupid, and insist on their stupidity, doggedly, aggressively, falsely, OR, is there a movement of cheeky individuals who think they are being smart by letting you fall for the hoax, (because it may SEEM that you would gain more by being duped!?). Post modernity at its very finest. The documentary that is, not many of the reviewers, unfortunately. It is the finest, best crafted hoax I have ever come across in my entire life. Congratulations Banksy, you are a king of sorts. England would be a fine country if only more englishmen (were intelligent enough) and used their incredible arrogance as he does. People, it is a hoax. So good that I will admit that I was duped. But only because I had never even heard of Banksy or Fairey or MBW, and due to (bad habit of mine) I started smashing out a reply WHILE watching*. (Do you have that mental dexterity to watch something, digesting and read or write something else, or play an online game at the same time? For me, watching the entire 6 series of Lost is only worthwhile if doing something else at the same time, for example). My 1st review was interested in dissecting post modernity, more than the film itself. Unfortunately I submitted my 1st review b4 I even finished watching, and hadn't even bothered to reflect if it were true or not, (oh the extreme power of what can be contained within the 4 walls of video, we hand ourselves over so entirely - look at how many idiots CONTINUE to talk about the film as "real"). By the end, it was obvious that it was a hoax - the ladder falling incident was the hugely ridiculous, final give away. I didn't think about it at the time, not paying much attention AND I was not manipulated emotionally, but the story of his Mum dying (hence the video addiction) is beyond ridiculous. Wake up. Sure, Thierry Guetta has skin and bones. I doubt seriously that that is his real name, although it could be. OBVIOUSLY, he is part of the post modern hoax and experiment, NOT A BIG DEAL that he even does shows! (Fools). I said it was the GREATEST HOAX ever. You think it is way too elaborate!? Wrong! James Guetta Cameron has a FAR more elaborate hoax - one man, zillions of dollars, even more, brainless fans PAYING!?!?! for his super mediocre films, AVATAR & TITANIC. I cannot even stand them in one sitting, & don't try to blame my post modern, lack of attention span. On the other hand, I watched 'Betty Blue, trent sept deux le matin' EXTENDED (plus de 3 hrs), 'Une Prophete', even Spielberg's 'Empire of The Sun', without blinking. Yes, French films are generally better. Take 'Tell No One', with ALL the Hollywood triggers and twists, yet somehow, far superior to its Holly Would equivalent. Yet, in the USA's favour, France could probably never create a Solodnz or a Spike or even Ang, Lees. Wow, sorry, way off track. Nothing short of pathetic, sad and horrible, an attack on the furthering of intellectual reasoning - I am referring to that most common IMDb loser line "believe what you want, stop being a fascist with your opinions. Let ME love the film, blah, blah, wah-wah". Firstly, I hate the Greeks; Democracy is a farce. However, I do appreciate very much THE ANCIENT ART OF DIALECTIC. Meaning, TO CONVINCE THE OTHER OF YOUR ARGUMENT. Anyway, I am not telling yo how to read this film, interpret it, whether it is good or not or for you to like it or not. However, facts are facts, and it is a hoax. STOP BEING FOOLS and then insisting IN DENIAL, because you are ashamed that you were fooled by the hoax - I, your thought master, even I was fooled (for the shortest time). Learn to see the error of your ways and admit your faults, as your good master does :) Of course Banksy, Shephard and "Thierry Guetta" would only make a farce with this subject matter. Grow up.

*My first reply caught me jumping into my usual critique of post modernity, which as the hoax revealed itself, became irrelevant because at that point, Banksy was a step ahead. FANTASTIC FILM! Hard and a little boring to watch, until Guetta falls and starts his show of the worst manic depressive super ego ever invented. Art is mostly, extremely elitist. At least in terms of inclusion and distribution. And never before the post modern (epoch) was there achieved the despicable, nauseating level of commodification in and of the art world. I am sure 'Exit Through . . .' and Banksy agree, at least somewhat. Would Thierry Guetta ? :)

PS. This is the favourite part of my first review:

I've been calling (read hoping) for the end of the popularity of post modernism for as long as I can remember. Instead of being an epoch and /or movement in art in which paradigms are challenged, or even intelligence propagated, the exact opposite has happened and is happening, until it seems, we are all bludgeoned out of our senses. Bashed about by copies of a copy of a copy, as though that were some interesting study, in . . .? Wacked in the face by retards . . . smashing us into believe or feel that we are nothing more than consumers. Consumers of junk. Non-intellectual, anti intellectual, soulless and soul sucking, junk. For me, at least, that is NOT an intelligent way to make a (million) buck, and it certainly has nothing to do with art.

In short- You are awesome, everyone else is dumb. Ok, thanks for that you ****in' egomaniac douche.

The OP is a hoax. Surely no real person could take a bunch of letters and rearrange them in such a convoluted and gibberish way, could they?

Definitely a hoax. By the time Mister Brainwash became a smash hit in L.A., it was easy to see.

Dude, paragraphs! The density of your mile long text makes my eyes bleed.

That being said, if the movie's a hoax it fits with that the public misses what's in front of them, and what is art, other than a big hoax of falsified messages to make you dwell on a bigger issue. What is art? Who curates it, and who curates the curators?

At my first or second year at art school there was this visiting artist having a lecture about a research trip on a boat in the arctics. She showed bits and pieces of documentation from the trip, men onboard and the findings, but not a single picture of herself. Being challenged with a question about if it was a hoax, an interesting conversation arose about validity of information.

Mr. Brainwash, the name itself fits with what Banksy talks about people missing what's right in front of them, and his focus on the brainwashed narrow-minded society that takes what's right in front of them, but fail to see the big picture. And that's art. This fits to be a hoax. Then the question marks and topics it arise makes it art. Then the storytelling narration is doing a good job of underlining that we so easily let ourselves be spoon-fed by what we get right in front under our nose. In that case it's a well-planned one, making him hack-able on the internet. And not only an almost empty facebook profile that most fakers do. Many things about this guy is probably even true. Maybe he even p.. No, you know what, I leave it at that. I'm about to repeat myself over and over, so I say goodnight.

Its not hard to tell the difference between a fake documentary (the Mermaid special on The History Channel), and a real documentary. And i'm not talking about the subject matter. I'm talking about how people appear in front of the camera.

There is nothing in this film that suggests its not real. The people are conducting themselves as real humans would. They are realer than Oscar winning actors, because they ARE real. There are no tell-tale signs of re-creations apparent to people who have seen, produced or acted in that type of material.

I don't even 'get' WHY people think its a hoax. Do you care to shed some light on why you came to that conclusion? Is it because Mr. Brainwash is so ridiculous? Well guess what? He's still in the public eye to this day, and he's still the same person, every day of his life. Are you suggesting his life is dedicated to perpetuating a hoax, even 6 years later? He was just in the news last week, meeting with Michelle Obama. Is she in on the hoax?

If you think perpetuating a hoax is Bansky-esque... why? He's never done that before? Why would he do it in a film, when he's shown no interest to do it in his other art? The film stands on its own without the whole hoax idea. He never intended it, nor intended you to think he intended it.

People who think its a hoax, are reading too much into it, like the people who think Kubrick's The Shining has all these secret meanings. You're doing the art a disservice. Just let it stand on what it was intended to do.
