The show is called "Life Sentence" and it's about a "young woman diagnosed with terminal cancer who finds out that she’s not dying after all and has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to 'live like she was dying.'"

That's an interesting premise for sure.

But in all seriousness I'm glad she's found something new AND as a lead where she will potentially get to y'know, act. Instead of being permanently attached to Ian Harding's face. I'm looking forward to a showcase of her talent.

im happy for her, but i am curious how far this show can go, i mean unless they're willing to go hardcore with what she did while on cancer, its hard to say how long she will really reap the consequences. if shes going to jail and were getting a new OITNB but unless the writers are REALLY strong this sounds like it will lose its premise by season 2 and just become a soap

Agreed. I was hoping she would branch out and try to get away from freeform/CW. I'm worried about the CW because they're on their comic phase and basing the network around that so if the ratings drop it'll be cancelled. I kind of sounds likes a boring premise unless she killed the people and did really bad things while she thought she had cancer I don't see why we would care to watch

unless she goes to prison or murders someone its gonna be hard to stretch this premise. and even if she murdered someone it'd have to be like how to get away with murder where each season dives deeper and deeper into the insanity, and its hard to do that unless she already plays someone who would be surrounded by this kind of scandal. it'd take a really strong showrunner to pull this off, but perhaps what they WANT is for it to just be a generic soap drama and the premise was just their way of kicking things off. id hate it if it was though, i like a point.

time will tell.

I agree that it doesn't appear to have a lot of longevity but at least (presumably) it will give her some acting exposure. Because story wise on PLL she has the weakest reel. Even Shay has had meatier stories than she has.

Agree. It seems like the premise will last 1 season and then become something totally different. I don't really want to watch it, maybe once more info is released I'll be more inclined. But I do wanna support our PLL girls with their new projects.

Not sure if I'll watch it but I wish her the best of luck with it. I'm kind of irked at CW for ruining Supergirl.

I'm glad she potentially found another show. However, the premise of the show doesn't strongly interest me. If it goes to series though I'll probably give it a try just for her.

Good for her! I'll definitely watch it if it gets picked up to series. I worry about that even happening with it being on the CW.

I'm alright, just struggling with passing my NCLEX so I've been distracted and also dealing with unexpected deaths in my family. I retake my test for nursing next week so wish me luck! I'll be on here much more often I promise. :)
