Quick Review. (SPOILERS)

Getting straight into it, Nick did not have the attitude of someone wanting to end their life. The cop should know that, but like that crooked cop says later on in the movie "He picked you because he knew you were not capable to do your job!" and he was right because as we see at the beginning Detective Lydia Mercer pops some pills and was not even supposed to be working for a while, her judgement was clouded because she was not ready to return to work and she had replays in her mind of a previous suicidal guy literally jumping from a bridge, so she must have felt like a failure not doing her job successfully that one time.

Anyway i liked how the movie didn't make suicide an actual issue, this Flick was not depressing, we see that there's more to it than the depiction of jumping from a ledge, it's a heist thriller with suspense, it isn't a suicidal melodrama.

Works up until Ed Harris gets handcuffed ,then feels kinda rushed and unbelievable.

Yes for sure. In reality the cops would separate all involved in the street and take them for separate questioning to ensure they completely understand what's happened and there's nothing more to come. I also don't believe Nick and Mercer and co. would end up at the pub soon after in a celebratory and proposing kinda mood.
