Honestly, I don’t understand all the hate it is getting.
The characters were well written and the story was engaging.
Yeah, it took from other films, but that happens with many films. Especially Sci Fi.
I am looking forward to the second part.

I liked it. Nothing ground breaking but a nice diversion for a couple of hours.
shareDefinitely not as bad as being portrayed and worth a watch. Sofia Boutella's acting has improved over the past few years and is good. I did find a bit too much time showing spaceships taking off and landing. But it moves at a good pace.
