Intimacy coordinator appalled at way they treated intimacy coordinator in series

Marci Liroff, an actual intimacy coordinator with no connection to “The Idol,” was asked by Variety what she thought about the scene where a fictional intimacy coordinator was shoved in a closet after trying to prevent Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) from revealing her breasts for a photoshoot.

Liroff said she was “appalled” and felt “really betrayed that they were making fun of us and the job. They were using us as the butt of the joke.”

Poor baby.

They are the butt of the joke. I'm surprised they weren't all wearing burkas. If the person feels comfortable doing it, let them.

No one called her out. No one had a clue who she was or cared.

She’s looking for publicity for a role she’s knows studios will stop using soon because they’re a waste of money and a hindrance to the creative process.

They make the actors feel appreciated and that is an important part of the creative process.

That isn’t what they do. They’re there to protect actresses from actions that rarely happen, especially these days.
