I started watching Sons of Anarchy first and that's probably why I ended up liking it more even though seasons 6 and 7 weren't good, while Justified's last season was the second best of the hole series (first to season 4). Anyway I know that these shows get compared, a lot because they are similar and have multiple actors that appear on both shows. I wonder which one people find better?

The writing for Justified is more complex, focused, and complete and it let the characters interact as human beings. SOA was wild and fun, but the writing was often stupid, scenes were cartoonish, and Sutter seemed to go off on indulgent tangents which had nothing to do with the story he was trying to tell.
In the last season all these over the top bikers suddenly became quiet s monks, letting Jax do whatever he wanted. Sutter set up this world with a strict biker code and completely ignored it to save Jax from any harm. He sure had a thing for Jax's bare ass. I he wrote truthfully, based on what he showed us from the beginning. Jax should've be beaten the eff up by the gang and probably died looking like Steve Buscemi. but He let Jax ride away "cute", untouched, and unmarked.
Now, Yost kept Raylan relatively safe, but when he needed his ass kicked he let him get his ass kicked. I respect that. Lol
