how they made everyone looked like they just stepped out of a fashion magazine photo shoot, especially Amanda and Shiloh! I mean ca'mon! People didn't even bathe back then.

I agree that everyone looked too modern, but the whole "medieval people didn't bathe" thing is a complete myth.
