Europeans and Australians can't make good movies

Their movies are all boring. Lame comedies, lame actions, lame dramas, lame horrors, lame, lame, lame, chavs, chavs, chavs. They definitely can't compare to Hollywood. Movies from Europe are usually either about young kids running around doing stupid shiet like the recent Heartless, Sket and his one of course. Then the older ones like Green Street Hooligans, Dean Man Running, Neds, Trainspotting, The Business, Cashback, Human Traffic, etc. Same crap over and over sex, drugs, violence, yelling and swearing with accents. Then the other kinds are Notting Hill type movies. The horrors are somewhat watchable but they are still about the youngsters running around doing stupid shiet. Kill them all off. Australians don't fare any better. Time for the countries to allocates some budget for big movie studios. The Asian countries can at least make cool action and some cool effects.

Three things, my mentally challenged friend:

1. The Dark Knight Rises is officially a US/UK co-production. The director and writer is English, the lead actor is Welsh, and there are quite a few notable English actors in it inluding Tom Hardy (Bane), Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon), Michael Caine (Alfred), Burn Gorman (Stryver), and Tom Conti (Prison Doctor). It also features Liam Neeson (Ras'Al-Ghul) who is from Northern Ireland, a part of the UK.

2. The British film industry focusses on quality, not quantity. Wallace And Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit took five years to make but it was an amazing film. Ditto Chicken Run and The Pirates: In An Adventure With Scientists which were also made by Aardman Animation.

3. The majority of mainstream American films you see will have had most of their studio scenes shot at Pinewood Studios in South England. Star Wars, Captain America, X-Men: First Class, Pirates Of The Caribbean. The list goes on. America may be bankrolling these huge budget blockbusters but, more often than not, they're made in Britain using a British crew. Our film industry may not be cranking out as many films as the US, but we're investing a lot of time, money, and labour into actually making America's films.

TDK would have been made regardless if there's UK in there. But it wouldn't work if there were no US. Dont be naive. Dont believe that European actors are the only ones who can make the movie happen.

Quality is subjective. Brits and Europeans will swallow anything thrown at them and call it great.

America do the bankrolling, got started in the 30s and have all the studios and people lined up to make the movies. Everyone around the world want to get involved. European countries and Australian wouldn't work too well independently. Their movies are dwarfed by Americans.

Yeah nice one but none of those fools would get the opportunity if the US studios didn't let them participate. For every guy you listed, there are like 10 to everyone of them in America with great movies. I don't see anything great from Europe or Australia. And it's stupid to talk up every little movie they make like this one. Lame.
