sharetook me a while to get used to the slang, but meh... I had no troubles after a few minutes.

You didn't miss much by not understanding it; none of the dialogue was particularly interesting.
shareTurn on the Closed Captions. Makes things a lot easier.
shareI had a hard time with the accents. I watched it on cable, so no subtitles were available to me. I missed alot of dialogue.
shareI'm English and I couldn't understand most of what they were saying either. To call what they were speaking 'English' is an insult to the English language.

No, it isn't. Everybody does not speak English the same damn way. And the English has changed over centuries---there's never been just "one" way to speak it. I hate it when people put down black people's slang, yet they turn around and rip off it off anyway. White people have their own slang too, but funny how no one ever bashes it, or claims that it's not English simply because they can't understand it. This stupid hate and insults are always directed at slang spoke by black people, which is just coming from racist ignorance. Just because you didn't understand it dosen't make it bad or worthless. You just don't understand it because it's not about you or your close-minded racist thoughts about what English should be. You didn't create English or the rules for it, so just shut up about it already.
shareI am a middle aged old fart and I had no problems understanding the teenagers in this film. Its a real shame some people cannot keep up with the times!
Its that man again!!

They were speaking in a particular localized vernacular, but obviously you already know that. Why you're so proud to announce how insular and ignorant you are isn't quite so obvious though.
What if a squirrel wants a sausage?
@qert8-!
I didn't have any problems understanding them at all, but then that's partly because I grew up watching Brit shows and films (I'm American,BTW) and still do. Yep,they were speaking slang---and frankly, I've seen Brit films in which I couldn't understand a damn thing the white folks in them were saying either. All you had to do was quit whining and turn on the subtitles,anyway.
