shareWell lets see. On average, 10% of the population identifies as gay and a typical 2 hour movie will have a couple dozen speaking parts, not counting extras. Given that, Its highly likely that your seeing a gay person in every movie you see whether you know it or not.
Also, considering that actors are mostly just theater kids, that 10% number is probably closer to 20% for that group.
There is no way 10% of the popn is gay. San Fran has the highest lgbtq popn in the USA and its "only" 6%.
