Maggie starting to show age

I think she looks her 35 yrs this season. Before this season she looked the early 20s part and a romantic interest for Ben. Now she could be his older aunt or sister.

I'd still shag her rotten.

In the zombie apocalypse, you don't have to be the fastest runner, you just can't be the slowest.

I never thought Maggie looked early 20's - the actress looked 30ish to me from her very first appearance on the show. I don't care if she's older than Hal, but make it believable by making her character 10 years older, not just a couple.

who does her hair?

I always thought she looked like she was in her 30's which is why I always thought her romance with Hal was gross and then with Ben was even worse! They should've gotten a younger actress to begin with. Someone better looking too, I guess she's kinda pretty but I dunno, never saw her as that attractive tbh.

real human being and a real hero

The best thing about Maggie, is that the actress playing her does an incredible job of being a hardened warrior.
Her stance in most scenes is aggressive, and she wears those matched pistols like a natural. She doesn't look like she's "acting" I appreciated that.
the later development of the attraction due to the spikes was not well written, and in fact ill-advised.

I couldn't have said it any better myself and that was one of the reasons Maggie was my favourite character on this show and I hope we get to see Sarah Carter in more similar roles in the future. She would be a great choice to play a female superhero or villain.

Well, Falling Skies was like, 5 years of night shoots... that is bound to take its toll, but honestly, she looks amazing for her age. And I don't even like blonde hair. (O_o)

Whatever. Though she has been looking a little different over the last few years. There's nothing wrong with a woman looking her age.

Sarah Carter has always been gorgeous.

Assuming no surgery or excessive amount of makeup being used you can often tell the age every 5 or so years on a person. For example someone at the age of 20 will look younger than someone at the age of 25. This scales very well up in age. Obviously there are always scenarios where the genetics of a person are very different and causes them to appear younger than they are(or even older) it's not that common however.

It's not to be confused with someone looking more attractive as they age, we're talking about how *old* they are looking. Even an amateur should be able to pinpoint someones age with little to no experience of say 10 years. Most people should be able to tell the difference between a 20 and 30 years old person for example. The same applies to all ages of course.

Like I said up top if surgery, makeup and things like that are used(which they often are on actors these days) then it will be more tricky in some cases. The downside of surgery is that once you start doing it to yourself at the age of 35-40+ you'll look like a clown by the age of 50. No matter what you do at that point forward you're going to make it worse every single time you do it. This is because the skin ages, gravity does its work and so on. While it may give you a "quick" fix in your younger days it'll come back to haunt you once you reach 50+.
