So why did the tech twins....
....go all Driller Killer on those dudes???? I had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue throughout the film so if it was mentioned or alluded to, I guess I missed it.

shareI didn't understand that part as well.
Other parts that bugged me :
What was found in Brecken's insides, was he found to be a naturally evolving boy ?
What did Timlin do to Brecken : "your friend at the registry did the work"
Yes, he evolved naturally. What I believe happened was, if I'm getting this right, his father and his group artificially made themselves able to digest plastic because they transplanted certain organs inside themselves. And from them manually (artificially) changing their structure, that eventually led to a natural evolvement of the plastic digestive system in the kid. That's why he was considered to be a monster or whatever by the mother. And that's why he was so important I guess to show the world that he evolved naturally. And what I think happened was Timlin opened him up first and tattooed the organs to make it look like the organs were manually inserted into him so that the world wouldn't know that he naturally evolved that way. It's very complicated and it was hard for me to catch a lot of the stuff that they said because a lot of the characters mumbled and they had thick accents. And then a lot of the stuff that I did comprehend them talking about was still kind of senseless. And I guess the senseless stuff was supposedly supposed to be comedy but, I don't know. A lot of the points of the movie seemed unclear to me. David Cronenberg's movies are weird for sure, but usually they make some kind of sense. I guess the title of this, which is Crimes of the Future, means that what the father and their group were doing was against the law to manually change their evolution or whatever they were up to. Honestly I don't know. I might have to watch this movie with English subtitles to get a more clear grasp of what went on LOL.
shareI wouldn't have guessed Timlin made it look like the boy's organs were manually inserted to hide it from the public's knowledge. What a weird unintelligible movie lol.
shareYes because from what I gathered, when they remove the extra organs that people produce, they get tattooed for some reason or another. Or maybe that's just what the French woman was doing with Viggo's organs. I'm not exactly sure. But I guess the main point of the movie is that somehow, because of the overuse of plastics over the years, we evolved to be able to use them as a source of life/nutrition???? I mean if that is the point of the movie or part of the point of the movie, it's an interesting idea. It just wasn't executed very well I think. Too intelligible, like you said.
shareBrecken's organs were defaced by kristin stewart's character because she was recruited by the detective to make it seem as if his organs digesting plastic was due to surgery and not natural genetics
shareI think they were government agents. I don't think this was made explicit in the movie though.
