HOW DANIEL DIED?

Yes, I know it was because of the storm in the Pyrenees but are storms there so violents that can kill one grown man? Is not the storm itself that can kill one person ( unless is a tornado ) but landfills, floods, falling trees a.s.o., seemed he died from hiphotermia but neither seemed could happen in such a place. Opinions?

It's good that the film didn't try to fill us details unnecessary to the basic story.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

I always assumed that when the weather changed suddenly, it created poor visibility and Daniel fell down, possibly breaking his neck. I base that on the part Tom is near the spot where someone placed a cross for Daniel and he "sees" Daniel hiking at a higher elevation.

My Uncle has done the Camino a few times but on his latest trek he had a bad fall, broke his ankle and had to be airlifted out of there. If he was on his own he probably would have died.

Hypothermia is a swift and unexpected but very common killer.
