Don't get me wrong, I really did love this movie. It was very heart warming and funny but seriously...a vegetarian with colon cancer?? It's very UNlikely. Vegetarians have a less of a risk getting cancer at all let alone colon cancer. And why the hell couldn't her last wish be that she DIDN'T die??? Heck if Whoopie Goldberg can be GOD then anything's possible I guess!

Yes. I know that it does not. But I am talking about colon cancer, not all other health issues. People who eat lots of red meats and have poor diets lacking in fruits and veggies are at MUCH higher risk of colon cancer. It's a fact. That's my point. If you look into studies of countries where they eat very little meat they have little or no cases of cancer, especially colon cancer. American's have very high. Why? Because our diets are crap. So a vegetarian with colon cancer, slim to none. But then again...so is Whoopie Goldberg being GOD. Eh...

You may want to consider the genetics factor also.
Doesn't matter what your diet is if you have family history....you will still have a higher likelihood than someone from a family with NO history. That's just a fact.
