Scorsese is right - this is not cinema.

I got seven minutes in and first there the stupid opening credits and then he starts talking to the audience. That was it for me,

It's a comedy and so that doesn't really fit into "cinema" because comedies aren't very artistic.

However, there is an emotional message to Deadpool, if you watch the film and think about it.

Comic book movies are a lot like religious movies. The stuff in the Bible isn't real, none of the people ever existed, and magic doesn't exist, so what are Bible stories about? An idiot would say nothing, but they're about a lot of things that have to do with living on Earth.

And you know this how?

By reading it?

I am not a big Deadpool fan either, but I think this was love letter to the many fans. Also People have been wanting an R-rated, Anti-hero movie complete with obscenities and and humor for awhile. They delivered and it did good. Deadpool "breaking the 4th wall" and his self awareness is present in his comics.

And Paranoid isn't from an opera but it's still a fucking great song. ¨

You don't watch something like Deadpool for it's high drama.
