Can Anyone Confirm, Using The Appropriate Formula, That The Train Scene "Flying" Wolverine Physics Is Garbage?
Looked like garbage to me but perhaps I am wrong, who can say...
Well that is the question here:- Who can say?
We've got this seemingly ridiculous moment when atop the bullet train, Wolverine jumps into the air which apparently is enough for him to "magically" fly towards his yakuza opponent... But would this actually happen?
Yeah, there's wind resistance at play but enough to seemingly stop him dead in his position in space?
I think not - After all, with his body attached to the train roof, he travels at the same speed and direction as the train. So the air resistance would have to effectively be applying force on him, in the opposite direction, as the forward momentum, so that when he lept in the air he would appear to "fly".
In reality, I think he jumps and lands slightly down the carriage he was on - rather than the nonsense we saw - but do we have any experts on wind resistance who can confirm this to be the case?
