Not that good

I'm 4 episodes in and you are onto something here. The writing is crap. Eyerolling lines, characters doing stupid things in overly dramatic scenes...
BUT, the zombie action is top notch and this is what matters the most in this type of movies.. Very intense and physical. Makes me wonder how they pulled it off without hurting somebody.
It is worth watching by zombie fans, although it lacks character to be a truly memorable zombie movie (kinda like how nobody remembers Train to Busan). I don't think anybody else would find it compelling.
"kinda like how nobody remembers Train to Busan" huh?
shareDo you? It was nice and I liked it, but can't remember a single scene from it. Its name will never come to my mind if I had to list top five or so best zombie movies. Never heard again about it until the reference in the TV show we are discussing.
Well, maybe is just me.
Curious: which would be your top 5 best zombie movies?
shareWithout particular order: Day of the dead (probably the best?), Dawn of the dead (both original and remake), Night of the living dead (both), Fulci's The Beyond and Zombi. I won't swear in them though, because I watched them maaaany years ago.
shareI'm finding it harder and harder to remember a lot of things because there is so much content out there to watch and then you forget the previous one or very little remembrance and you're onto the next show.
shareHmm, this is an interesting and very good point.
When you watch 2 shows in a day and few movies in a week ... it kinda becomes hard to remember everything.
While 30 years ago we were seeing maybe one movie a week and we were discussing it the whole week with friends. Maybe even seeing the movie twice in the same week sometime ...
The worst part for me is how long they’re all just going fine without food and water, especially the latter.
I’m on episode 8 and they’ve gone more than two days without water and they’re all just running about showing no effects of dehydration. The writers do realise there’s more to survival than just avoiding zombies, right?
