I guess, I'm the only one that liked this movie

Tbh, this movie made me laugh a lot...I liked the bucky character and I liked the movie...It's not amazing, but this movie isn't meant to be awesome IMO. It's meant to make you laugh and thats what it did for me...

The scene where he goes to the macaroni commercial, had me laughing a lot.

The scene where christina ricci uses a straw as a make shift condom, that made me laugh pretty hard.

I understand, that it's the job of the average IMDB user to sit in front of their computers and analyse every movie ever made and completely hate on movies that are stupid/funny or don't live up to their standards, I get it but come on, just enjoy the movie or don't...no need to completely bash the movie. It's not like you're making a living as a movie critic (or even getting paid).

*waits for IMDB troll to come and point out my bad grammar or something small such as this to attack me with*

The people, the critics, all of humanity has spoken. Rotten Tomatoes: 0% for critics, 29% for audience. 2.8 on IMDb. That pretty much says it.

The entire world isn't trolling you, moron. Most people hated it. These are statistically significant numbers.

You are in an extreme minority of people that thought this was funny. And it isn't the minority that loves Adam Sandler and crew, because they hate this movie too.

You are the troll. Trying to act like your small opinion is really what most reasonable people think and that it's just trolls saying otherwise.

oh that hurt -_-

Besides, I never said the people that didn't like it were trolling you moron...Learn to read things before you give your opinion.

I just totally love u!! Every single word u said is what I feel.i thought the whole movie was good.
Anyone who didn't like it really has no business watching an Adam sandler movie anyway!! It takes a certain type of humor to appreciate movies like this.
This movie had me in tears from laughing so much!!
GO BUCKY! Lol

and I knew I would like it, right when I saw the trailer. The movie gave me exactly what I expected from having watched trailer.

People must have had too high expectations, since they hate it so much.

Take it for what it is. Don't over analyze it.

I enjoyed the Bucky character, and the simple humor.

I liked it too. Did you think it was funny when they called Bucky's unit a "clown flower"? XD

When I first watched Dumb and Dumber I thought it was the stupidest movie ever written. Jeff Bridges character completely irked me and Jim Carrey was just too odd to be believed. 2nd and third time I watched, just for Lauren Holly's tennis skirt scene, I started to like other parts of the movie. Now, it's one of those "I have to watch again" movies, there are so many layers to D and D, and I see the same in Bucky Larsen, the Don Johnson character really added to the fun, and you have to be a Nick Swardson fan to even give it a shot.

I was a big fan of Adam Sandler in the 90's and early 2000's. (I even liked some of the more recent stuff he was in, like Chuck and Larry, if for nothing else for the good message) I absolutely adored Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, Big Daddy, Anger Management, The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, etc. I also really liked the films he was affiliated with but didn't star in. (Like this, a Happy Maddison film)

But this one really just... I don't know. I gave this a 2 out of 10 because Christina Ricci was adorable and the acting was allright, but it just... it's so unforgivable bland, unfunny and basic... It's just bad, plain and simple, and that's coming from a fan. Between this, Jack and Jill (which somehow looks worse than this) and probably That's My Boy (which looks on par with Jack and Jill), it looks like Sandler has just forgotten how to make the sort of comedies he used to make.

It makes me sad and nostalgic for the movies he used to be affiliated with.

Please, I'm not trying to be mean, OP, I'm really not, I was just flat-out saddened by this movie, and the negative mark it's leaving on Sandler, Swardson and everyone else's career. Sure, his prior films haven't had high ratings, but they generally scored at least a 20-30% on RT, and had higher user-averages than this. Between this (a rare 0% on RT and a user average of 2.9) and Jack and Jill (3% RT score, 3.4 average user-rating), and how bad That's My Boy looks, it doesn't bode well for fans.

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
