This movie has so many flaws... (spoilers!!)

1 - Why did the nurse give the contact information about her ex-Stasi "friend" to Martin Harris like that, out of the blue?

2 - How can you pretend for a long time to be a researcher with a guy (Prof. Bessler) who is among the best in the world in the field?! Moreover, Dr. Martin Harris surely appears only in those fake websites that his killer friends made up however he will not appear in any scientific publication whatsoever: I mean, the research is pissing off people that is ready to send kamikazes and they won't do a 5 minutes background check on a guy that is going to collaborate for months with them?!! And how can Martin Harris discuss about scientific matters with Prof. Bessler?!

3 - No way that an illegal immigrant is going to risk everything (and go back to Bosnia where they slaughtered her family--her own words) to save Martin Harris ass when he's kidnapped by the killers...

4 - worst killers EVER! A woman coming with a lousy taxi arrives and what happens? The killer is run over and thrown down the building along with his chief inside the van?! Wtf?!

5 - Why on earth didn't they kill Liam Neeson right away when he showed up without memory? The scene in the hospital was ridiculous, why breaking everyone's neck except Liam's one?! Why bothering poisoning him, just stub him/crack his neck as you did with any doctor/nurse in the neighborhood

6 - Why would the blonde try to deactivate the bomb?!? It's not that they didn't discover it

7 - Why did Liam Nesson became a good guy at the end?! Why!?!? It doesn't make sense in any way?!?

8 - So you placed a bomb that destroyed a building, confessed to be a killer, assassinated few people, destroyed half Berlin and guess what?! At the end of the day you can just walk away as if nothing happened.... wtf?!?

BONUS: Martin Harris (a killer with tons of risky information in his damaged head) goes nuts and literally nobody cares?! Nobody sent to check his status and see if he's leaking important info? For 4-5 days?!

BONUS 2: a professional killer that forgets his most important/vital suitcase at the airport. Seriously?

Out of the blue? The nurse realized that Martin needed a PI and recommended one to him. What's the big mystery? How is this a flaw?

The rest of your questions are other similar, weird nit-picks or you just not displaying common sense or paying attention to the film.

watch it again sis, you are misinformed.
And they didn't want to kill him first, they wanted him back in the team...

reply

Yes a lot of flaws.
Obviously we need to stretch out belief in most movies but this one was too much
1. Tell your Mrs where your going rather than just disappear from outside the hotel
2. Agents - look for your disappeared friend - such as checking the hospitals - and wait for him when he wakes up to avoid any mess
4. If he turns up at the hotel/party, meet him and explain everything outside!

Totally agree ....for people saying we need common sense to understand the movie lol !!
point 7 and 8 absolutely have no sense at all .....he went from killer to good guy real doctor from a hit on the head....he forgets his bag but he can go undercover for years as a research doctor lol !! ........plus he just walked away after saying i am terrorist i put bomb in your hotel ....the film has many flaws ..if u admit it or not (that also doesn't mean u cant enjoy it ...liam is always awesome to watch)

reply

With that attitude, is it possible to ever enjoy any film.

As for point number 2, I had a similar thought. Martin Harris is supposed to be some world renowned expert in his field, and has even spoken with Bressler over the phone. A person can fake being an expert for a few minutes, but there is no way he could have discussed these topics with another world-class expert for 30 minutes. It takes years to understand this type of field. (If not, then why don't we have more experts in all these fields? These guys could make more money by cranking out experts who can then develop new stuff and make billions.) They said that he trained for one year for that role; you can't learn that one year. BUT: In addition to training Liam for this, they also had to train Liam's backup!! So they got two guys up to speed to be world class experts, just in case the first guy had something go wrong (which is what -- one in a thousand chance?).
