Elsa's accent......why different from her parents?

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah and her fake blond hair, you can see the roots are brown. Why try to make an authentic western with modern amenities?

reply

She has to match her horse.

How many posts are you going to make about her accent? Doesn't bother me at all - how the hell do I know what a plainsman sounds like from 1883? To me it's the deepness of her voice - sounds very forced.

reply

Because I dislike inauthentic acting and her attempt at an accent is horrible. At the least, her accent should be similar to her parents which it is not and you can tell it is an actor trying to act with a horrible accent.

Did you ever see "The Parent Trap" with Hayley Mills? Both sisters are born in the U.S.A. to American parents. One sister is raised by the American father in California. The other sister is raised on the east coast by the American mother. Yet both sisters have English accents. You just have to suspend your disbelief and ignore it.

reply

It tends to vary as well, sometimes she sounds Germanic, other times not so much.
