How did he find his wife after the embassy?
I may have missed something.

when he was in the trunk of the car when he was kidnapped at the beginning of the action, he memorized the sounds (Dog, music, etc). Then he did follow those sounds from the place they kidnapped him the first time.
The real question is, how did he get out from the embassy with no questions!
Ah of course, it wouldn't make much sense not to move his wife now that he had escaped and presumably knew where the hideout was, but this movie wasn't really about sense was it?
He did ask his guy on the golf course to let the embassy know they were friendlies, but after he'd crashed through the gate amidst a gunfight (major, major diplomatic incident one would think) they really aren't going to simply let him wander off again straight away are they? It would have been nice just to have two minutes of movie about how he was freed to wander the streets causing havoc again. Too hard for the writers, I guess.
While we're on weak points, left alone with only a plastic cable tie securing his hands. That's a really stupid villain.

Exactly! We don't need complete sense to enjoy the movie, but at least they should not make it like they can skip any part! they couldn't deal with it, so they just finish off the movie and get the half a billion and some pennies profit like a charm.
I liked the movie generally, but they seriously need to work those things out.
Not only with no questions, but with no help? "Now pardon me, please babysit my daughter while I go to rescue my wife, who is an American being held hostage."
"Oh yes, yes, you go do that, that isn't something we'd help with at all."
We see him counting and noting stuff (singing, boat etc) when he was abducted. So he probably retraced it
The better question is how he got out of the U.S. embassy. He just crashed into the place, putting some soldiers’s lives at risk. They just let him go walk around afterwards?
