Speaking to ComicBook.com's Chris Killian for her new Netflix movie Heart of Stone, Gadot said that, as she understands it, she will be developing Wonder Woman 3 together with Gunn and Safran. "I love portraying Wonder Woman," Gadot says. "It's so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we're gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."

you can't keep a good Gal down?

I would like to see Patty Jenkins return as director, but just don't have her be the writer. I think it would work out fine then.

reply

I second this!

reply

I agree.

And I will be rather miffed if Jenkins gets the boot, after she made the best damn movie in the whole franchise.

reply

I think she deserves another shot. She obviously has some talent as a director and Gadot would probably prefer working with her again I imagine.

I looked up her career a while ago, and well, it's enough to make me think that the people who whine about the lot of women directors in Hollywood has a point. After the incredible indie Oscar-winner "Monster" it was about 15 years before she directed another feature film, and a billion-dollar hit wasn't enough to establish her career. One disappointing sequel and she's out on her ass, while fucking Snyder was allowed to make about ten disappointing sequels before he got the boot.

So yes, I'd love to see her involved in the next WW film, and I'd love to see another WW film! And she deserves to be involved, although my guess is that she'll just get a producer credit. If anything.

reply

Looked it up, but she says the decision to take a break was mostly hers. She wanted to be home with her newborn son and raise him. Her quotes on it are about halfway through the article. Takes guts to step away early in your career especially after a hit. It is surprising she was given such a large project like WW with only one film in her portfolio, though a proven one, and 14 years in the past. But as it says, she was doing TV in-between too.

Let’s see a legitimate source. Comicbook.com is a clickbait site that posts false rumors.

Gadot sucks as WW and an actress. Except for the first WW, all of her movies have bombed.

Recast. Now!

She was in 14 movies before being miscast in BvS and still no one knew who she was or cared. She has no talent or charisma onscreen.

She’s a generic cardboard cutout with less personality and an even flatter chest.

Cast an actress who actually looks like the comic book WW.

Gal haters can lick my hairy balls.

Gal Gadot IS Wonder Woman. Perfect casting. Would have been foolish to replace her.

reply

Lynda Carter is Wonder Woman.

You do not have my consent to lick my hairy balls.

Who reported this? Mike Zeroh...?

Gal Gadot says James Gunn & Peter Safran told her in a meeting that…

“You’re in the best hands. We’re going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. We love you as Wonder Woman— you’ve got nothing to worry about.”

reply

A wise decision. Only a fool would recast the wonderful Gal. She's perfect in the role.
