I did a spit-take watching this (SPOILERS)

I loved this show. It's really, really funny. Each episode has a great, little build-up to each mini-climax, the overall story is great, and the central character is surprisingly sympathetic and touching.

The best part is Trevor's journey. There's a major moment when he looks up "solitary bee" on the internet and watches the short bee documentary. It gives a great insight into where Trevor is behind all of the strange behaviour. Trevor's obsession dooms him, from minute one, and we get insight after insight into why this guy is where he is in life. This sad-sack, sympathetic, downtrodden fool is a great character.

The tragedy is what makes it funny, too. Trevor is fighting nature in the form of a bee, but he's also fighting *his* nature of obsession with too-small details.

There's a great plot twist, too!

My one complaint is the very, very start of the show. When listing his crimes, the show flashes to snippets of what we're about to see and spoils some of the upcoming jokes, including a really climactic moment that definitely should have been saved as a surprise. If you start watching one or two minutes in, you'll miss nothing and gain much in surprise.

The funniest moment was (my opinion) when he answered the door to the cop the first time. He realises where the bee is and one of the actions he takes to get after it made me choke and spit-take my drink. I fortunately had just enough of my faculties to turn and miss my computer monitor.
