1. They were close enough it was fine
2. Right but the point was they had to send the data through the watch, there weren't enough books to send the data through them. If she didn't at least have some love for him buried deep down inside of her she'd never come back for the watch. He couldn't send the data to her when she was still a child because she wouldn't understand it, it had to be when she was an adult

2. Well he only has a certain amount of books and how would he know if she would put them back so he could send another message. Murph as a kid would have but she wasn't old enough to understand how the quantum data worked so he had to send it to her as an adult. As an adult she was not living in the house and the chances of her ever going back were minimal but she did because of her connection to her father.

2. She didn't go into the room though, Cooper had to pick a time when she went into the room when she was an adult and understood quantum data. She was mad at Cooper ever since she was 10 and he left but the small part of her that still loved him is the reason she went back for the watch and that is what saved the world.

2. I've a better idea, if you can "morse code" a complex formula into watch, how about when she still young living in that room, code this: "hey, I've a physics formula can save your ass, right now you might not understand, but keep study, one day you will figure out."

1. I did see the clip and you have no idea what the depth is, they still weren't that far across in comparison to the actual width of the river. I'm sure Batman wouldn't put his friends in any real danger
2. Cooper had just left, she was infuriated with him, at that age she wouldn't have listened. Also she's a kid, kids are prone to forget things he had no idea she would remember that for 26 years. Also if he did that it would mean she now knows her own future and if you learned anything from Back to the Future knowing your own future can result in disastrous consequences. Having a plan that bets the survival of the human species in the hands of a 10 year old and requires telling her she has to become an astrophysicist is a horrible plan.

1. You also don't know the depth so you're in no position to say they would have died, they looked pretty close to the shore to me.
2. Doesn't matter, telling a child she has to become an astrophysicist or else the world will end could cause several things to happen which would end up with that outcome not happening, maybe that would cause her to be under a huge amount of stress and she turns to drugs which prevents her from becoming an astrophysicist, maybe she'd be so pissed at her father she'd intentionally not do it just to spite him. Too big of a risk especially when you just leave her alone and not interfere she does become one.
