As a Polish person...

...I have never been so offended by a movie in my entire life. And please don't give me "it's just a film" cr*p.

On the other hand, I haven't laughed so hard in ages. "Polish" dialogues are priceless.

I'm half Polish and watched this with my full blooded Polish mother. Neither of us were offended. And as far as the dialects, there are so many different dialects in any language. Also, people that go to America, often find that they end up speaking a weird American/ Polish dialect with made up words, lol. My grandmother and her friends did that. Therefore, while my mom is fluent in Polish, I'm sure if she went to Poland, she might have minor difficulties with some words.

Im Czech, but Ill give my two cents. How can you possibly be offended if you are Polish. The Polish people in this film are basically the smart gate keepers of the demon putting their safety on the line, and the American/Canadians are idiots causing problems. For Christ sake the "journalist" goes up to a little girl and asks if she speaks English. If anything American/Canadians could be offended, then again I think the depiction is spot on having lived in America for a while.
