Did F. Murray Abraham hurt his head in real life? Aside from a few references to it, it didn’t seem necessary to the plot for Bert to have injured his head.
I know it’s a very minor thing but I’m curious.
In reviews of the show they explain how his falling & hurting his head made us think that he might be one of the DEAD BODIES by the end of the story.
Because the first thing the HOTEL MGR says to him when he arrives was how surprised she was to see how OLD he was.
So the fall & hurting his head was a BIG FAKE OUT situation as part of the PLOT to lead us astray from figuring out who would DIE.
Assume that was the case. Maybe took a nap outside and got severe sunburn?
shareYes I assumed it was something that happened to the actor. It was never really addressed beyond him having bumped his head, and who did the bandaging? It was VERY neat and professional, but no mention of a doctor, nurse, medic or hospital visit etc.
Seems like he might have needed the bandage for something at a certain stage during shooting and they just had to stick with it from then on.
