Who is in The PHOTO that Tanya picks up ???

Anyone have any idea?

Was it a picture of her parent???

Did her father know this other guy that she's staying with now ???

Tanya grabs a framed photo, which depicts two men wearing cowboy hats. The consensus among fans is that Quentin is the “gay cowboy” Greg (Jon Gries) referenced earlier in the season. With Jack (Leo Woodall) drunkenly revealing that his “uncle” is broke, it seems likely Greg and Quentin are working together to steal Tanya’s money. Perhaps having Tanya cheat on her husband will negate the prenup Greg signed. And she and Nicolo begin moving toward that end as “Abductions” closes.

One thing’s for sure: it certainly seems like Jack had orders to keep Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) away from the villa the evening of the party. We’ll learn more about what’s happening with Tanya’s dubious new friends when the final episode of season 2 arrives.

You can see the photo if you go to HBO MAX & then pause it at the 57:53 TIME MARK. One of the guys in cowboy hats looks like a younger Quentin, but don't recognize the other guy (who might be a younger Greg)???

she spots a photo of a younger Quentin. There is also a cowboy in that photo, likely the one Quentin claims he was in love with when he was younger.

What likely bothers Tanya the most is how closely that young man resembles Greg, her estranged husband. If it does indeed turn out to be Greg, the implication of all of this is mind-boggling. For starters, this means that Greg did get married to her for her money. However, he must have realized that he wouldn’t get much if they divorced because of the prenup. And that’s why Quentin decided to step in, offering friendship and human connection to a woman who desperately needed them.

If Tanya has sex with the ITALIAN, Greg will probably also threaten to SUE her and use PHOTOS and/or VIDEOS of her sexual encounter & her doing drugs as evidence that she's unfit to be his wife???

And he'd also have Valentina as a witness to when Greg tried to please Tanya by taking her for the ride on the motor bike as a way to claim he's been a good husband to her?

I knew Greg was the cowboy!!! I called it as soon as Quentin made the “cowboy” reference lol. I legit have no ideas of who’s going to get killed though, because SOO many folks have motives

And Congratulations on getting something right!!! Seems like every guess of mine has been wrong.

Ok. So now we probably also know the reason why Greg wanted Tanya to get rid of PORTIA & it most likely also had nothing to do with his wanting to spend a ROMATIC vacation with her???

Or is it possible Greg has no idea what Quentin's up to and what motivates him is jealousy that Tanya's seeing his former lover???

But since we've also seen Greg speaking to someone secretly on the phone (claiming that it was his boss), that also seems to suggest he may have actually been speaking to Quentin about their plans to screw over Tanya???

So then who is Portia speaking to on the phone in the preview? Who would come to the rescue? In another PREVIEW clip we also see some kind of COP standing on the shore looking over at Quentin's boat. Could that be because the LAW is about to BUST Quentin for the drugs? And that might be the way that Tanya is able to escape the fate that awaits her???

He wanted her gone because she's a liability. He's probably teaming up with Quentin to embezzle his wife.

Yes since she's been there with Tanya the entire time Portia would be a WITNESS who could testify about how Greg conspired with his former lover Quentin to steal money from his wife.

And that probably also means they might try to get rid of her to make sure that won't happen?

Also wonder if JACK took her away from the party as a way to try to protect her, or if Quentin's the one who asked him to keep her away that night ?

Yeah it was Quentin's car that Jack used to take her to that other town. So that also seems to indicate Quentin was part of the plan to get keep her away from the party.

Do you think Quentin's really Jack's uncle?

Wonder what the DEEP HOLE is that JACK was talking about before he fell asleep?

Since the writer of the show (Mike White) says that she'll be back again in Season 3 (when the show next takes place in Japan), that doesn't sound like Tanya ends up dead this season.

But maybe we could also meet an IDENTICAL TWIN SISTER in S3 if she does die this season???

I'm thinking that she won't die though, due to the PREVIEW clip where we see that COP standing on the shore looking over at Quentin's BOAT.

So maybe Quentin's been using that BIG BOAT of his to smuggle drugs, which also results in his arrest before any harm can come to Tanya???

Still another reason why the writer probably wouldn't kill off Tanya yet is because he & the actress are also supposed to be good friends.

Isn't it also IRONIC how Tanya warns Portia about getting involved with JACK while she remains completely clueless about why it's not a good idea to be getting mixed up with QUENTIN???

Hopefully finding that PHOTO of her husband with QUENTIN will also get Tanya to WAKE UP (the same way as Tanya tries to get Portia to wake up to the reason why a relationship with Jack's no good for her)?

Tanya's "Do as she says but not as she does herself" sermon that she gave to Portia also seems to have fallen on deaf hears.

But something also tells me that Portia's Woken up a bit ever since she was given it.

yes correct so if it's the same guy Quentin lied about the cowboy being gay since he became his husband , just like he lied when at the opera he says "yes she is the queen of Sicily" (Sicily doesn't have a queen looool)

Pretty obvious for me Quentin told Jack to make sure Portia wouldn't be at the party so he he could manipulate Tanya more easily, towards the end of the episode the look on Portia's face shows that she realizes the whole thing is some kind of a set up.

1. If we take him at his word, I assumed Quentin was just in love with his str8 friend but they never had sex nor did he return the feelings. It's possible he was lying to Tanya and he and the Cowboy are lovers and it's Greg.

2. If he's going to all the trouble to manipulate Tanya and get her to fuck the gigolo/do drugs etc, why would he leave a picture of Greg (assuming that was Greg in the photo) in the same ROOM HE PUT HER IN WITH THE GIGOLO??

Great question Adam. WHY would he overlook that photo? Maybe it's because he forgot about it being there? Because with GREG looking about 40 years younger, it must also have been sitting there for a long, long, time???

Maybe because Greg did have something to do with her death & she becomes a GHOST who will haunt him when he goes to stay at another White Lotus resort in another part of the world???

That could be FUN to watch him going out of his mind like HAMLET does in HAMLET after he sees the GHOST of his father.

One article that's been written even suggests that she finds a way to come back again.
