When we first meet her she's on the Beach bragging to other people about what a wonderful time she's had while staying there and tells them that she's sure they'll also have a good time as well.
But taking into consideration what we know about her relationship with her husband now, why would she say something like that???
Does she deliberately choose to look the other way and be delusional about what's really going on around her???
Daphe isn’t looking the other way, she is accepting it. She is in an open marriage and is fine with it. Her has his flings, she has hers. They keep secrets, but tease each other about them. So in her mind, the vacation is great. She gets to go off to a villa, have massages, and enjoy the resort. When she gets home she will have a nice tan to show her trainer/lover.
shareYes what you say seems to make sense until you take into consideration how Lucia's PIMP is probably going to KILL her husband due to the way he hasn't PAID his customer for the SEX he had with her. And then what does DAPHE do? Who else will marry her & keep her in the style to which she's accustomed when she's already got 2 kids?
And even IF he pays the PIMP for the SEX he's had, Harper's hubby is also FLIPPING OUT now (due to the way his roommate would always steal his other dates away from him). So he may also KILL him due to thinking he's been screwing his wife.
And with all of the other SEXUAL HARASSMENT SUITS that have been filed against him, Daphne also won't be able to SUE for wrongful death. And Harper's also an attorney who deals with such cases & has WON every case she's had, which also means DAPHNE's SCREWED BIGTIME if her worthless HUBBY ends up dead.
Because it's also HIGHLY UNLIKELY that her TRAINER makes enough money to support her & pay for the lifestyle that she's use to having. And those other LAWSUITS that others have already filed against her husband would probably also mean any money that she has coming to her would go to those people instead.
In other words, looking the other way and accepting it, will probably also result in her living in POVERTY. Because certain kinds of ACTIONS also have CONSEQUENCES. And this vacation that she's had may also be the LAST ONE that she'll ever have.
At least that's the way it looks to me.

shareAs usual my theories were way off base due to the way Daphne didn't get mad at her CHEATING hubby, but "GOT EVEN" instead (by screwing Ethan or doing whatever they did in that secluded area they went to).

If they planned on killing Tanya, then how could they let Portia live when she could also have told the law what she knew???
I suppose it's possible that Jack was told to keep her away from the party & then tell her to GO HOME without going back to THE WHITE LOTUS again, but isn't it also possible that Jack was told to murder her???

They've never openly agreed to do this and she seems upset with it, but I guess the fun message of this series is that you'll be happier if you just ignore that your spouse is cheating. Everyone seems to spontaneously heal and be fine as a result. The writer probably can't get their lover to stop cheating so they write sh*t like this. Looks like it got to you too.
