shareYes, the tone is all over the place. It was meant to be that way. That aspect of the movie reminded me a lot of Parasite. I had the exact same roller coaster emotions with this movie as I had with Parasite. You literally cycle through pretty much every emotion. Shock, horror, sadness, laughter, excitement, happiness etc. Laughing one minute crying the next. Grossed out one minute, smiling the next.
I feel that after they have a part two then the third movie should be a prequel showing Steve and his wife's story. That'd be cool.
