I hated the 2013 remake? Will i enjoy this?

I prefer the 2013 as its darker and more violent. Rise was Ok bur half of the film is boring as hell.

I liked the 2013 film but loved Rise. The new setting made it feel fresh rather than just a cabin again and it had a nightmarish sense of claustrophobia to it similar to the film REC.

You'll still love the original 3. This is similar to 2013.

Meh. It is ok. It is rehash of other horror movies and frequently refers to scenes from them to the point of annoyance - made me wonder if there is a single original scene in it. If it is wasn't called "Evil Dead Rise", I would have probably thought that Evil Dead is just one of the movies they refer to.

They made it a gore movie. Probably the filmmakers thought that tons of blood and gore makes a good horror movie, but they don't. Good camera work and few good actors playing forgettable characters more appropriate for a slasher movie.

Could have been great but it is made by some horror n00bs, imho.

Remake is a masterpiece compared to this.

I like the original trilogy and the 2013 remake is so-so to me. Can't say I hate it, but definitely don't love it. Haven't seen this one yet, but I don't think it will be something special.
