The show seemed to imply this (IE - with the whale songs at night, trying to sell his autograph to other inmates, lunch trays on seats, etc). Was this in fact the case in real life? Or was Dahmer just acting the way he did just because he didnt give a shit?
shareI don't think this was the case in real life. The guy that killed Dahmer said he was bragging or making headless figurines out of food but most people say he's lying about it. I do remember after Dahmer died his priest said Dahmer had just gone a diet since he had gained a few lbs. Recently there's a YouTube interview with a criminologist who said Dahmer went into a dark place in his mind, and stayed there..very ominous. We also have to remember when Dahmer got sentenced he requested to be in general population, he even said he knew his life would probably be hell in there.
