This is a beautiful film for everyone to see! The acting is outstanding and every other element involved in filmmaking is done to perfection! I hope more people see this! It is true beauty.... a work of art!

I have just seen it on DVD and thought it was wonderful. A brilliant film, and so rare these days. I think it is one of the best I have ever seen - it is amazing that dross can be made for 10 times this film's budget. I can't wait to watch it again.

I found the sets and wardrobe to be icing on the cake. I was thrilled to have strong feelings for the characters. I haven't cared about characters in film in a while. Colin Firth moved me and I was the only one crying at the end. I had lost someone.

i always describe films i like as near-perfect, but i really think this was a perfect film, there is nothing a would change about it!

It is a well made movie. Tom Ford knows how to make a good movie.

Stylish. Superficial. Shallow. Introvert.
In the end, a lot of beautiful emptiness.

I have so much to say, but such little time to spend answering. I only have time to say that even though I am completely straight, but this is one of the most beautiful love stories ever. Collin Firth, is, as always, number one, brilliant, unforgettable. And I also highly praise the whole cast and crew. My best friends are a gay man and a lesbian, and I condemn anyone who can go against these two "minorities" without looking at them as human beings. I wish people could see them, one by one, discovering them as humans, and seeing that, just like in the straight community I belong to, among gay and lesbians, there are also wonderful and horrible beings. Sexual tendency has nothing to do with the goodness inherent to each person. This movie, these actors, this director, and Christopher Isherwood are the best!!!! Congrats to all of them, and to all the good, kindhearted gays and lesbians out there who have to suffer the humiliations and stupidities of the ignorants.
