Joe is way too emotional
She flies off the handle at the tiniest thing. Somehow I don't think you're going to get ahead and stay there yelling at generals. It really reinforces negative female stereotypes.

shareI generally like the show, but the temper tantrums are a bit too much. Add the plastique faces to that and it really ruins the show. I honestly can't buy any of the female characters because of their faces, from Kidman, Saldana, Wagner, De Oliveira, to the new addition - Rodriguez.
shareYep!
Kidman looks terrible. I don't know why these women don't just age gracefully. No one is fooled and they draw attention to themselves for the wrong reasons. She at least has the right temperament for the job. The Cruz character is not realistic at all. Stick-shaped women don't beat up grown men and the bar scene in season 1 was ridiculous. I think the pilot character is believable because she's not portrayed as something she's not. Wagner is my favorite of the women and the most believable, though still unrealistic.
I always laugh when I see the opening credits, the shot of Kidman from the profile. I can just imagine her thought process: "Make me look powerful and in deep thoughts, but don't miss my pointy nose and my pouty lips, I paid good money for them."
Wagner's character is, as you say, the most realistic, but, again - her face. Can you imagine a woman like that, in her line of work, first deciding to, then going through the amount of very obvious surgeries? The new girl looks like Lady Gaga, but, eventually, they all end up looking the same.
