Why is V only averaging 11 episodes a season?

ST:TNG averaged 25, why can't the producers of V do this? Then the plot wouldn't be so rushed. It'd also be nice if they would give more thought to their writing.

I'd say it's probably the same reason Dollhouse had like only 12-3 episodes a season.

The network isn't sure they'll be an audience and so see what the audience, demographics, and potential sales are.

Also, V may have been relatively expensive.

Nielsen ratings are becoming a little irrelevant in an age where DVR and all the other forms of non-traditional media distribution allow people to view AFTER the show actually broadcasted.

I just want to verify my understanding of the situation. Kimberly-Shaw has put all of these people on ignore that disagree with her disbelief in facts, which she justifies by calling her incorrect beliefs "opinions" that are infallable, yes? That means she has responded to all of these posts without even seeing what the people are posting, correct? So she's literally arguing with/trying (and failing miserably) to insult blank [message ignored] boxes on her screen? That's a thing that really happened? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Awesome. You're pretty bad at this. First, it doesn't matter if the posts were deleted later. My point was that you claimed to have the other posters on ignore, yet you kept responding every single time they posted, even though you weren't reading the content of the posts. As a result, your responses were irrelevant as well as unusually childish ("appledick" being a perfect example of the simple, child-like insults I'm referring to). My comments have nothing to do with whether or not the posts remain there now. Wouldn't have made a difference to you anyway since you weren't reading them, if you're to be taken at your word.

The best part is how utterly satisfied with yourself you seem to be. Like, "Yep! Showed dem dudez. I'm super witty, rite?" Just FYI, no. You're not witty at all and don't come across as remotely intelligent when you just spout uninspired insults that completely ignore the content of the posts you reply to. You act like you've 'won' or something, when the only thing you've succeeded in doing is making yourself look foolish and dull by pulling the internet version of plugging your ears and belting out "LA LA LA! I HATE YOU! LA LA LA!"

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to carve into an insult where you say you're sure I have time for something. Time for what? To erase my old posts like those guys did? You won't catch me doing that unless I find out that you're ACTUALLY retarded, making any post of mine that dissects a failed post of yours both unsatisfying and insensitive, even for me. Picking on retarded people knowingly is where I draw the line. Outside of that, only admins will remove posts of mine. No reason for me to be ashamed of what I post here.

Anyway, as far as me being off these boards for a while, that was due to my being particularly busy and/or finding more entertaining ways to spend my time on the internet than exposing dullards to themselves when they're in denial. Occasionally, it's fun to drop in to threads like this and sharpen my claws on easy prey, but there's no meat on those bones, so ultimately it becomes unsatisfying again, at which point I return to the darker recesses of the internet where the interesting stuff goes on, stopping in and using imdb for it's intended purpose as required rather than getting tangled up with the likes of some apparent head-injury survivor (PSSST! That'd be you). I'm far too old for juvenile detention, and "mommy" doesn't handle my internet service. Weird, flailing, generic and inapplicable attempts at insulting me won't get under my skin because it's like you're talking about someone else. They only end up making you look witless and lost, yet again. Just trying to help.
