Where are you getting that? Initially they were told that the Koreans were only accepting mothers and babies. Then when they meet the Koreans they are only accepting babies.
There was no suggestion she abandoned the kid to stay with him or that the Koreans had an issue with him being black.
They accepted a black baby.
You didn't pay attention it seems.

shareThe Koreans stated they can only take the baby because the parents are more mouths to feed, and they will need jobs and a house, etc. When the mum insisted, they pointed out that the dad was too unwell and the camera showed us his bleeding leg stumps in that moment. The dad also stated that he is not going to make it (he will most likely die of infection). The last scene of her on her own was most likely after he had passed away and a group of humans came through by chance to offer to take her with them. I imagine she wouldn't have left him while he was still alive.
